Pot luck In Joska .... we'll bring the goats

Wow what an incredible few days we have had. Due to some power surges we were unable to have uploaded information. So we are excited to update you all on what God has been doing. On Tuesday we finished phase one of the Joska water project and God began to work in a way none of us expected. We finished early and while sitting down for lunch we began to brain storm and what else we can do. Well we came up with the idea of fixing the beds at the Boys home. Well as we toured and inspected we found the bunks to be destroyed or non existent. So as a group we collected an offering and we were able to purchase 20 beds and fix the remaining beds at CCRC. We then came up with the idea of throwing a party for the community and so we had Wallace, the head of Joska’s city council, invite the community out. We then went and bought three goats and a ton of rice. This morning Frank Paul Jamie and Ed left for CCRC and hour early where we along with our friends from Joska butchered three goats and we began to repair for a party at CCRC. At about 1:00 about 100 community folks joined us as well as a few of the council members and we hosted a party for the community. We served them and it was incredible. People began to share with one another and we really connected with the community. After dinner all of the people joined us in digging pipe trenches. We made HUGE progress. We finished the beds today as well as we replace a broken oven at ccrc and man it was so cool to see their face light up with joy. We are all doing well and God is moving in mighty ways.
